WHEREAS Trustee Joe Adams introduced the following order, moved its adoption, and the motion seconded by Trustee Bryan Michalsky was duly put and carried, said order reading as follows: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, resolved and directed, that in accordance with Senate Bill 621, 66th Legislature for the State of Texas, which provides for a State Property Tax Board and a Local Appraisal District Board to be appointed by taxing authorities within that appraisal district to assess and appraise all taxable property for all taxing units within said appraisal district; WHEREAS the Katy Independent School District has selected, designated, and appointed Fort Bend County, Texas as its appraisal district, Katy Independent School District hereby casts its votes for Directors of the Fort Bend County Appraisal District as designated on the attached Official Ballot.
