IT IS RECOMMENDED: THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVES THE RESOLUTION TO CAST 121 VOTES EACH FOR AL ABRAMCZYK, ALBERT GLOVER, JIM KIJ, PAUL STAMATIS AND RHONDA ZACHARIAS FOR DIRECTOR OF THE FORT BEND COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT AS DETAILED ON THE OFFICIAL BALLOT. RESOLUTION The Board of Trustees of the Katy Independent School District being convened in Regular Session on the 25th day of November 2013 with a quorum present in the persons of Joe Adams, Henry Dibrell, Rebecca Fox, Charles Griffin, Terry Huckaby, Bryan Michalsky and Bill Proctor. WHEREAS Trustee Joe Adams introduced the following order, moved its adoption, and the motion seconded by Trustee Bryan Michalsky was duly put and carried, said order reading as follows: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, resolved and directed, that in accordance with Senate Bill 621, 66th Legislature for the State of Texas, which provides for a State Property Tax Board and a Local Appraisal District Board to be appointed by taxing authorities within that appraisal district to assess and appraise all taxable property for all taxing units within said appraisal district; WHEREAS the Katy Independent School District has selected, designated, and appointed Fort Bend County, Texas as its appraisal district, Katy Independent School District hereby casts its votes for Directors of the Fort Bend County Appraisal District as designated on the attached Official Ballot.

IT IS RECOMMENDED: THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVE THE RESOLUTION TO CAST ITS VOTE FOR KATHERINE (TONI) TRUMBULL FOR DIRECTOR OF THE HARRIS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT AS DETAILED ON THE OFFICIAL BALLOT. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE KATY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT CASTING ITS BALLOT FOR THE ELECTION OF A PERSON TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HARRIS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the chief appraiser of the Harris County Appraisal District has delivered to the superintendent of this school district, the names of those persons duly nominated as candidates to serve in that position on the board of directors of the Harris County Appraisal District, representing and to be filled by the school districts other than the Houston Independent School District participating in said appraisal district; and WHEREAS, this school district deems it appropriate and in the public interest to cast its vote for the candidate of its choice to fill such position; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE KATY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT: Section 1. That the facts and recitations set forth in the preamble of this resolution be, and they are hereby, adopted, ratified, and confirmed. Section 2. That the Katy Independent School District does hereby cast its vote for Katherine (Toni) Trumbull to fill the position on the board of directors of the Harris County Appraisal District, representing and to be filled by the school districts, other than the Houston Independent School District, participating in the appraisal district. Section 3. That the superintendent be hereby authorized and directed to deliver, or cause to be delivered, an executed or certified copy of this resolution to the chief appraiser of the Harris County Appraisal District no later than December 16, 2013. It is recommended: that the Board of Trustees approve the attached resolution to cast its 619 votes for Roosevelt Alexander for Director of the Waller County Appraisal District as detailed on the Official Ballot.
