Noting that at least two board members are present, the board will now convene in open meeting.

Act with regard to the notice for this meeting?
Madam President, we are in compliance with regards to the notice for this meeting tonight.
Bring your attention to action items, action item 3.1.
Madam President.
Ms. Fox.
I move that the Board of Trustees certifies the May 5, 2018, Katy Independent School District
Street Board of Trustees election for position six whereby Susan Gesoff was
duly elected and position seven whereby Don Champagne was duly elected so a
motion has been made by mrs. Fox a second by mr. Lacy that the Board of
Trustees certifies the May 5th 2018 Katy Independent School Board of Trustees
election for position six whereby Susan Gesoff was duly elected and position
7 where Don Champagne was duly elected. We will now proceed to vote. All those
in favor please raise your right hand and say aye. Aye. Motion passes 4 to 0.
Madam President. Mr. Lacy. I move that the Board of Trustees canvases the
results of the May 5th 2018 Katy ISD excuse me Katy Independent School
District Board of Trustees election as reported by the Central Counting
Committee and declare that the winners of each position are as follows. Position
Position six, Susan Gesoff with 3,324 votes.
And position seven, Dawn Champagne with 3,025 votes.

We have a motion by Mr. Lacy, a second by Ms. Doyle,
that the Board of Trustees canvases the results of the May 5, 2018,
KDISD Independent School District Board of Trustees election,
as reported by the Central Counting Committee,
and declares the winners of each position as follows.
Position six, Susan Gesoff with 3,324 votes.
And position seven, Don Champagne with 3,025 votes.
